Andrew Stanton
Oscar winning film director, screenwriter, producer and voice actor Andrew Stanton is one of my favorite directors and has made many animated movies that have gone on to win oscars. As one of the establishers of one of the worlds leading animation studios Pixar, he is well known for his animated movies. He was born December 3rd 1965 where he was raised in Rockport Massachusetts. He was educated in the California Insitute of the Arts in Los Angeles where he studied character animation. After he graduated, he started work in an animated tv series named "Mighty Mouse, the New Adventures"(1987) where he was a writer. The worldwide successful company Disney, turned him down three times before his big break came as he became the second animator and ninth emloyee to join Pixar Animation Studios, and made some of his most successful films which went on to win oscars, such as: 'Finding Nemo' (my favorite movie) and 'WALL-E' which both won oscars for Best animated Feature.
Andrew stanton is not all animation as he directed and wrote his first ever live-action movie John Carter based on Edgar Rice Burrough's novel: A Princess of Mars which went on to be nominated for two awards.
