Creative proccess

Genre
Our genre was Action, so we researched Action movies and the type pf movies that came up was James bond films such a the newest one of the collection: 'Skyfall', and other movies such as 'Avengers assemble' and 'Taken'. we then realised some of the conventions of actions films and we noticed nine main points which all action movies have which is:
-Always a motive
-Fights
-Massive destruction
-Goodies and baddies
-Weapons
-Killings
-Chase
-Special effects
-Sinister/upbest music
we realised we would have to include some of these conventions in our action film.

Script
our script was called "pop goes..." written by G.Wall, which involves dialouge exchanged between a man and receptionist. the script ends on a cliffhanger, and we thought this was in our favour because quite a few action movies end on a cliffhanger. To get the best result of our filming, we decided to change the man to woman as we did not have a male present to play the part. we felt this was the best decision to make as it would make it more believeable  for the audience. We also added flashback  chase scenes as we felt there was not enough action in the script.

Shots
We decided that most of our shots would be on shakey cam as we thought this portrayed the action genre very well. we also wanted to have short burst shots and over the shoulder dialouge as that would be very cut giving the effect of action. After we shared all our ideas, we thought it would be best to storyboard it all down so we wouldnt forget our ideas.

Location
we have to be very limited in our locations as we couldnt really go out of the school grounds to film with the school camera, so we decided that our film will be shot on the school grounds and inside the school such as classrooms.

Costume + Actors
As a team we decided who was going to play who, and who didnt mind being infront of the camera. In the end we decided that I would play the female character Baz, and Vicky would play the recptionist, and Cary would play any extras if we need them and the voice of the man Baz is coming to see. Costume was very simple to decide as we just wore what we were wearing already, amd i just happened to be wearing a body-con skirt, leather jacket, and these ankle boots with studs on them. die to continuity, i had to wear those clothes all the time for filming after that first dau of shooting. Vicky just wore very neutral colours such as light brown. but she did had a red scarf which was like a pop of colour agianst her neutral tones. As Cary was only an extra and the sound of a voice, we figured that Cary didnt need a specific outfit to wear all the time for filming.
